We currently have a tremendous opportunity for a dedicated professional in our investment banking and valuation advisory services practice. The ideal candidate will have educational experience in financial analysis, accounting, equity research, investment banking or business valuation, be highly motivated with the desire to build relationships and provide superior client-service.

Responsibilities

• Gather pertinent insight and data for analysis and advisory purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of reports supporting investment banking and valuation advisory engagements
• Conduct research on clients, competitors, industries, and capital markets, including market transactions, market multiples, financial ratios, and benchmarking
• Develop, review, and modify financial models incorporating various valuation and transaction pricing methodologies
• Develop and maintain supporting documentation work files and working papers to support all underlying transaction and valuation-related assumptions
• Perform research and financial modeling to support investment banking and valuation advisory engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience with research tools, financial database platforms, and financial analysis and analytical tools
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word
• Progress toward, achievement of or desire to obtain an applicable professional designation (ASA, CPA, CVA, CBA or CFA)
• Proven financial modeling, research, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of six months intern experience in finance or accounting with exposure to valuation, modeling

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in a related discipline or MBA
• Equity research

Hours Of Operation:

• Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
• We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
• Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
