The Opportunity: The Technology, Media and Telecommunications (“TMT”) team is part of the broader Sector organization. We focus on supporting our clients in the Americas region in two distinct ways: 1) fee generating lead-lending business, in the form of either project finance, leverage finance or corporate lending, mostly in support of Private Equity and/or Infrastructure Investors cross-buy efforts, especially in relation to its larger international clients.

As an integral member of the team, you support us in conducting credit analysis of both existing clients and new wholesale banking opportunities while helping in the preparation of pitches and special research projects. You will assist in financial modeling, deal negotiation, sourcing and managing a portfolio of loans in the TMT sector, a core focus sector for our client.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:

• You collaborate with Risk Management and Loan Operations
• You review and organize legal documentation for completion and thoroughness
• You monitor portfolios for a group of selected accounts – monitoring and tracking credit performance, executing amendment requests, etc.
• You prepare operating and LBO models, comp sheets, rating models, economic return models, and collateral documents
• You prepare initial screening memos and credit analysis packages, both written and verbal, including due diligence, financial modeling, business trends, competitive positioning and credit documentation review for new transactions
• You participate in the underwriting of new business transactions
• You maintain credit files and loan documentation
• You contribute to the preparation of client marketing presentations as well as internal presentations as needed

Qualifications / Experience:

• You have broad experience with financial modeling and a strong, fundamental grounding in Accounting and Finance disciplines
• You have one to two years of experience in either TMT, Leveraged Finance or a relevant field
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint): outstanding excel skills and be able to build financial models very soon after starting.
• Knowledge of industry and company dynamics in the TMT sector a plus
• You have a superior credit analysis background and strong related verbal and written communication skills
• Fundamental understanding of core financial documents (Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet).
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, mathematics, STEM or closely related quantitative field.
• Proven understanding of Corporate and Investment Banking markets

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
