Position Title: Data and Reporting Analyst

Remote/Onsite: Hybrid (must go onsite twice/week – flexible on days and location)

Work Location: Can report to the following locations for onsite days – Downtown LA, Anaheim, Pico Rivera, Chatsworth

Education Requirement: Bachelors Degree required (Engineering, Science, Math, Computer Science, or Business preferred)

Top Skills:

• Data Analysis: Comfortable analyzing and managing large data sets/Big Data
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance driven work
• Basic project management and business analysis skills
• 3+ years of relevant experience

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills
• Very detail oriented
• Organizational skills
• Problem solving skills

Plus Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills (may come in handy, won’t be using regularly)
• Basic SQL skills (may come in handy, won’t be using regularly)
• Regulatory experience within Energy or Utilities sector
• PowerBi or Python exposure (may come in handy, won’t be using regularly)

Additional Information:

• This Analyst will support the Emissions Strategy Program and their efforts within regulatory reporting and auditing as well as identifying additional opportunities for emissions reduction

Day to day responsibilities:

• Project Coordination
• Regulatory Reporting and Audits
• Help develop reports as needed, analyzing data used to ensure its defendable through audits or testimonies
• Will support various IT projects, including dashboard development, ML and Data Science initiatives, etc with high level project coordination and analysis
• Will also provide support for audits that come from those organizations
• Data Analysis
• Will consistently interface with other Teams to clarify data requests and gain additional information as needed
