Position Overview:
As an SAP Business Analyst specializing in documentation and module expertise, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation, enhancement, and optimization of SAP solutions within our organization. Your focus will be on in-depth documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows, while also collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams to gather and document business requirements for SAP solutions, specifically within the Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), or Sales and Distribution (SD) modules.
Develop comprehensive and clear functional specifications that outline detailed system behavior, business rules, and user interactions within the specified SAP modules.
Create detailed process maps and workflow diagrams to visualize business processes and system interactions, aiding in clear communication and understanding across teams.
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for your designated SAP modules, providing insights into best practices, potential improvements, and industry trends.
Collaborate closely with SAP developers, configuration specialists, and project managers to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Participate in testing activities, including test case development, execution, and documentation, ensuring that solutions meet business expectations and quality standards.
Assist in end-user training and support activities, ensuring that users understand the functionality of the implemented SAP solutions.
Continuously assess and identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and optimization within the SAP modules, offering actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience as an SAP Business Analyst with strong emphasis on documentation.
Expertise in one or more SAP modules, such as Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), or Sales and Distribution (SD).
Proven ability to create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows.
Strong understanding of business processes and their interaction with SAP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, from technical developers to business stakeholders.
Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies and project lifecycle.
Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
