Administrative Assistant (Temp) Jobs

Georgia State University is seeking an Administrative Assistant (Temp) to provide administrative support to University Housing. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Assist with the application process for new residents, returning students, and summer interns.
• Update and maintain housing database regarding housing/parking assignment, housing application room changes, and room cancellations.
• Coordinate room assignments and resident student parking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist housing coordinators with housing accommodations for special interest groups, which will include athletics, interest housing, freshman housing, student exchange program, etc.
• Provide front office customer assistance and answer phone calls regarding the residential room assignments and resident student parking.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or high school diploma or GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior experience working with student housing or living on campus and the housing application process for on campus student housing.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Able to write, review, and edit departmental communication and website information.
• Prior experience working with room rental sales within the hotel industry or apartment rental services.

Department : University Housing

Location : Atlanta Campus

Shift : 8:30am - 5:15pm. Hours may vary.

Salary : $18.00 - $23.00

Pay Grade : Temp
