The Research Assistant provides assistance/support for research projects in the Department of Childhood Depression Research.
Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks

• Collect assessment data from patients at the baseline visit and subsequent visits as specified by the research protocol.
• Position will participate in quality assurance training for study interviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Execute data collection procedure and assessment.
• Collects patient information; processes documents and enters information into database.
• Help with subject management, scheduling and reimbursement.
• Retrieves and submits test results to the Hub.
• Explains the process and procedures to educate the participant regarding the Child Trauma Network.
• Assist with local site approval and protocol implementation.
• Actively interviews, screens youth and parents to obtain informed consent to proceed.
• Assist with recruitment.
• Conducts affective computing protocols.

Accompanying Knowledge/Skills/Abilities And Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to address individuals and information with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality in various delicate, formal or urgent situations.
