About The Site
The Santa Rita East Energy Center is a 302.4 MW wind power generation facility located near Mertzon, TX utilizing GE 2.52 WTG turbine technology.
Position Overview
The individual must be a self-starter and will coordinate office services such as purchasing, payroll, records control, and other administrative activities for the Santa Rita East Energy Center; interpret operating policies; and exercise independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate collection and preparation of financial and operations reports
- Assemble and categorize facts and figures for written computation and calculations
- 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime as needed
- Coordinate and implement office services such as payroll, purchasing, records control, projects and budget accounting operations
- Analyze unit operating practices such as record keeping systems, forms control, office layout, personnel requirements, creating new systems or revising established procedures
- Assist with special events planning
- Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports
- Locate and compile information and format reports, graphs, tables, records and other sources of information
- Operate personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software
- Interpret and communicate operating policies
- Participate in interview of job applicants and conduct orientations of new employees as needed
- Assist with invoice distribution, purchase orders and coding
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Real estate, joint venture partnership, and/or wind industry experience a plus
- 3 + years of administrative assistant experience; ideally in a smaller, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships and to work as part of a team
- Proficient in MS office
