Job Description

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

WACO, TX

100% Onsite.

The pay ranges between $19.00 to $20.71 per hour.

Project Description:

  • Handles details of a confidential nature, and performs administrative functions based on understanding of company policy, views, and philosophy.
  • Assist with benefit administration for Balcones employees, including disability claims, leaves of absence, unemployment, and Worker's compensation.
  • Coordinates department mailings.
  • Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business, and conducts visitors to employer or appropriate person.
  • Assists in administrative details, usually of a confidential nature.
  • Arranges travel schedule and reservations.
  • Perform all other duties/projects as may be required by the Site Director.
  • Prepares special or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources.
  • Assists in the onboarding and new hire process for all employees.
  • Support HRBP Specialist with certain HR & people processes, including the people integration of the Balcones site into Diageo.
  • Anticipates and prepares materials needed for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc.
  • Reads and routes incoming mail.
  • Assist with administrative recruitment activities for Balcones positions.
  • To provide site and HR administrative support to the Balcones distillery operations.
  • Responsible for bi-weekly Balcones payroll processing.
  • Serve as resource for Balcones employees for benefits and payroll related questions.
  • May compile and type statistical reports.
  • Composes and types of routine correspondence, files correspondence and other records.

Required Skills:

  • Time-management and multi-tasking skills.

  • Microsoft office suite , Payroll processing, Claims.
  • Ability to drive projects with rigor and momentum.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work well with others, team oriented.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years secretarial experience working for multiple managers.
  • Demonstrated high integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Calendar management, Thrives under pressure with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Good experience as an administrative professional with hr functions who can handle payroll processing and help employees understand benefits .

This 9+ month position starts ASAP.
