Accounts Payable Coordinator

Western States Fire Protection is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its accounts payable team at the Corporate headquarters in Centennial, CO.

*This is not a remote position. Occasional overtime may be required throughout the year, particularly during month, quarter, and year-end closing. *

The salary range for this position is $19 - $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

o Track AP invoices utilizing a paperless workflow.

o Verify AP invoices through two-way match by comparing invoice and purchase order details.

o Perform accurate detailed data entry and posting of AP invoices within accounting system.

o Strict adherence to policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance.

o Maintain a portfolio of branches providing support as needed.

o Vendor statement reconciliation

o Maintain thorough documentation.

o Adjust to updated systems, processes, and procedures as required.

o Assist with additional AP tasks and projects as needed.

Job Qualifications

o Minimum of three years data entry experience

o Accounts Payable experience preferred.

o Construction and/or job costing experience preferred.

o Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

o Team player that operates well in a dynamic team environment

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

o Ability to grasp new technology and software quickly.

o Basic understanding of Microsoft products including Teams, Outlook, Word, OneDrive, and Excel

o Willing to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
