Accounts Payable and Payroll Manager

Location: Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York

The Accounts Payable and Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing payment processes for the company including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, U.S. and international payroll. This role requires someone who is detail oriented, committed to deadlines, and experienced in best practices for both accounts payable and payroll processes.

About the Role:

• Ensure vendor management is maintained and reviewed timely
• Supports weekly accounts payable run creating wires, reviewing invoices, etc.
• Responsible for preparing or overseeing the annual 1099 process
• Support new UKG payroll system implementation with Human Capital
• Perform detailed review of expense coding and maintenance of general ledger coding allocations
• Maintain vendor relationships and support company employees with accounts payable or payroll questions
• Review payroll related journal entries
• Enforce Company policies
• Manage banking platform related to transferring cash between entities and accounts to ensure sufficient funds for AP and payroll
• Collaborate with Human Capital to ensure accurate and timely payroll processes for five payroll providers
• Administration of Expensify for employee reimbursements including onboarding, offboarding, and coding oversight
• Improve Company vendor and expense policies with industry best practices
• Supports month-end close and interact frequently with the financial reporting team to meet deadlines and ensure accurate expense reporting
• Performs monthly bank reconciliations for many bank accounts
• Oversee and develop team, including Accounts Payable Specialist and Global Payroll Specialist

Your Qualifications:

• Experience leading a team with direct manager experience
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Stampli, Expensify, and UKG is a plus
• 5-7 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field or prior experience with accounting
• Experience with international payroll and accounts payable processes
• Experience with systems implementation is a plus

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 with 10% bonus
