Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable team. The Accounts Payable Manager has the responsibility to ensure that invoices are paid in a timely manner, vendor discounts are leveraged, while documenting and identifying process improvements. It is imperative that this position maintains positive vendor and internal stakeholder relationships.

Essential Functions

• Supervision of the Accounts Payable team.
• Processing Corporate Credit Card transactions
• Responsible for Sales and Use Tax compliance.
• Manage all functions and processes for check runs from three different accounting systems.
• Oversee the vendor statement reconciliation and vendor follow-up process.
• Meeting Month End Close deadlines.
• Load weekly electronic payments to banking portals as well as positive pay file for checks.
• Assist with other projects as assigned.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and processes.
• Year end 1099 compliance.

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong Attention to detail
• General understanding of application of GAAP
• Deep knowledge of the accounts payable cycle and appreciation for its importance to the organization as a whole
• 5 years of accounts payable experience, with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• Previous 3 Point Matching experience preferred.
• Well versed with MS Excel
• Flexible mindset, allowing for a changing environment, multiple business systems and business growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including high emotional IQ.
• Previous experience with NetSuite, Hedberg, Structure a plus.

Compensation: 65K-85K/Year
