Are you a collaborative self-starter looking for your next opportunity as an agency lead helping to leverage a high-profile and long-term Olympic & Paralympic sponsorship activation program? Do you work well autonomously, while still being able to chip into the overall team environment? The client is looking for an Account Manager to collaborate on strategic consulting, development, planning, and execution for the client’s Team USA partnership!
In this role, you'll work with the account leads to develop and implement marketing programs that support the client’s Olympic & Paralympic domestic sponsorship rights! As an Account Manager, you will work closely with the client to connect the dots in a complex organization, while also being able to handle and implement tactical programs.
The ideal candidate would be a confident project manager and multi-tasker who thinks on your feet, takes initiative, identifies and solves problems independently, finds creative solutions, and keeps programs on track across multiple partners (agency and client). If you've had experience with crafting, creating, and delivering presentations, you'll be ahead of the curve. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and client management skills required.
The location of this position can be flexible with a preference for working in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA, or Atlanta, GA. The client will also consider a remote-based working arrangement for qualified candidates.
Duties
- Support property and client teams for planning and execution of Olympic & Paralympic marketing programs
- Lead development of Olympic & Paralympic marketing toolkit and Games sponsorship reports
- Oversee quality control of all deliverables
- Lead all aspects of overall project management including timelines, project management tool, budget templates, and agency integration
- Other related duties, as reasonably assigned
- Lead key meetings with internal & external constituents and outside vendors including driving the agenda, facilitating the discussion, and clarifying next steps
- Provide POVs and recommendations for activation opportunities
- Serve as liaison for development and implementation of Olympic & Paralympic athlete programs and on-site appearances at events as necessary
- Support strategic development of client’s Olympic & Paralympic sponsorship platform and develop concepts for activation planning
- Run client’s Olympic & Paralympic approval management system
Requirements
- Flexible and passionate about traveling; weekend/holiday work as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (in particular PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- 4-6 years of agency/client service/experience in project management and execution
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail
- Desire and confidence to present materials to clients
- Experience handling and maintaining budgets
- Knowledge of and/or experience in Olympic Games or other major sponsorship properties
- Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to communicate clearly and expertly
- Previous collaborative experience with internal and/or external groups and agencies, especially in other countries
- Proven ability to effectively problem tackle and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic, forward-thinking, organized, proactive and creative
- Experience leading partner relationships including vendors, suppliers, and assets
- Have a passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture
- Self-starter who will take initiative with new projects and work with a variety of people
- Shown success working across a combination of strategic, logistical and tactical projects
Benefits
The base range for this position is $60,000 – 70,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background pertinent experience, and qualifications.
