Account Executive, Beauty Jobs

Small Girls PR is growing and we are looking for an Account Executive to support the day-to-day earned media efforts and campaign work for our Olay team!

There is no one-size-fits-all for an SGPR client which means your career will be further enriched with meaningful and diversified experience. We've handled mergers for GE, announced Esusu as one of the first Black-owned tech unicorns, created a closet calculator to see how recycled clothing impacts the environment with thredUP, and catapulted Olay’s Super Bowl ad to the cover of AdWeek.

With 2-3+ years of experience, we're looking for someone who has developed strong media relationships and has a track record of success securing meaningful placements. This role will support higher-level client communications for projects, lead call and meeting efforts for the group and participate in strategy discussions both behind-the-scenes and with the client.

Note: Small Girls PR is currently in the office on a hybrid basis, working two days a week in the office.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Lead coordination of client collateral and image assets for requesting media, prepare meeting agendas and send recaps after each call, overseeing regular Activity Report and recap documents
• Deliver in-depth top-tier client coverage and sustained media relations for the client by crafting must-read pitches and strong media lists
• Work with senior team members to brainstorm creative ideas and client initiatives that could become the next viral or trending story
• This role will give you a rare opportunity to help lead the creative PR efforts for a globally recognized beauty brand
• Mentor our strong and capable junior team, helping them flourish into future leaders
• Establish and maintain warm relationships with consumer media in print, digital, podcast, and broadcast, leading to regular placements as well as feature stories. Help us develop strategies and relationships to earn placements in social media channels, like Hypebeast’s TikTok
• Support the senior team in executing media strategy and build reporter rapport on behalf of the brands entrusted to your expertise

At Small Girls PR, fairness and equity are incredibly important factors throughout our hiring process. As a result, we have a set salary threshold for each role to ensure our teams are compensated equitably. At this level, the salary threshold is $68.5k-$68.5k.
