Youth Safety Program Coordinator Jobs

Works closely with Department of Labor Apprenticeship liaison to ensure transition from Work Experience to Apprenticeship or Secondary Education

Develop partnerships with employers to facilitate work experience opportunities.

Assists with conducting new hire and supervisor orientations for employer and WEX (Work Experience) participants.

Complete documentation for Work Experience opportunities accurately and on time.

Completes all forms and documents associated with the above responsibilities accurately and on time.

Strong networking skills, and ability to make business connections.

Minimum of two (2) years case management, employment, job development, facilitating workshops, and vocational counseling experience.

Experience working with at-risk youth.

Minimum one (1) year experience working with youth or running youth programs

Knowledge of and interest in the food system and social justice issues

Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Knowledge of database systems, Client Track preferred

Three (3) years of administrative work experience required.

Professional work experience supporting youth-based preferred

Considerable knowledge of the use of personal computers, including MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel and MS Outlook

Creates and delivers physical activity content in relative and usable formats.

Minimum Salary: US Dollar (USD) 47,500

Midpoint Salary: US Dollar (USD) 59,500

Maximum Salary : US Dollar (USD) 71,500

FLSA: exempt and not eligible for overtime pay

Strong data management skills to support cabinets, committees, department leads and program staff.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, problem-solve, and possess effective time management skills.

High degree of human relation skills, i.e., ability to effectively communicate and manage information to peers, staff, and volunteers.

Ability to understand, communicate, prioritize, and comply with reporting requirements

CPR/AED certification required within 6 months of employment.

2+ years of experience in youth development or non-profit.

B.A. degree in Business and Outdoor Recreation, Program Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Extensive knowledge and experience in a wide variety of safety and risk management protocols and practices.

Experience chairing committees and managing team and taskforce project management.

Maintains and manages risk management systems and communicates protocols for all outings within and across programs.

Manages, schedules, and evaluates programming of partner agencies during out-of-school-time center-based periods;
