This is a senior legal counsel role with the following requirements:

2-5 years combined experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements

Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume workload in a fast-paced working environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills

Prior experience engaging in internal operations projects (e.g., template development, policies), preferred

Work collaboratively with internal clients and functional partners (e.g., Global Clincial Operations, Corporate Quality, Corporate Regulatory)

Able to generate solutions and appropriately escalate to management

Minimum 3 years of law firm / in-house paralegal or regulatory compliance experience

Financial product and/or securities law knowledge is a plus

Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail

Able to take initiative in learning and applying new skills

Coordinate responses to various information requests, including 3rd party, client, and investor requests related to various legal / regulatory topics

Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

At least 4-5 years of relevant experience practicing at a top law firm as an associate (not partner)

Skills to solve problems independently accompanied by willingness to work as a team member

Outstanding drafting and communication skills

Compliance and Governance: You would advise on and implement relevant compliance programs and policies as necessary.

J.D. from a leading law school and admitted to at least one U.S. state bar

Support our regulatory change management program by tracking regulatory developments and evaluating how new laws and regulations might affect our business

Provide regulatory support to our Complaints Management team

4-8 years of relevant experience working for a financial services regulatory agency, in-house fintech or bank legal department, or law firm

Experience working with US financial services regulators (state or federal); experience with regulators outside of the US is a plus

Confidence in your ability to take on tough conversations and experience handling sensitive regulatory matters

8+ years of experience in immigration consulting on and/or administering corporate immigration programs.

Provides strategic legal oversight and guidance in the design, assessment, and implementation of our Global Immigration program, policies, standards, and processes.

Ensures legal compliance on immigration matters and programs.

Works with cross-functional teams to understand immigration impact, considerations, risks due to job changes and/or enterprise initiatives (e.g., expansions).

Provide legal trainings to business clients as directed by manager

At least 5+ years of experience directly handling, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial equipment and/or service agreements.

At least 5 years’ prior experience directly handling, drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts preferably in a global setting

Experience in government contracting and regulatory engagements is a plus.

Law firm experience will be considered; prior in-house counsel experience within a corporate legal department is preferred
