Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and reports necessary or suggested changes to management.

Strong analytical and time management skills.

Knowledge of benefit contract language.

A minimum of 3-5 years related benefits or employee benefit administration include LOAs, Workers Compensation experience.

Evaluate and compare existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information.

Minimum of 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in the field of Benefits Plan Administration.

Extensive experience in the analysis, design and implementation of benefits programs

Ensure benefit plan documentation, contracts and amendments are in compliance with international, federal and state guidelines.

Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, insurers and vendors to ensure timely customer service and accurate cost-effective plan administration.

Provide technical assistance and support, proactively seeking opportunities and solicit feedback from frontline employees and management to enhance benefit programming

Administering the organization’s benefits programs (e.g., benefits & retirement plans, compliance requirements, insurance policies, etc.)

Proactively stay up to date on trends, best practices, and education within the benefit & investment industry

Manage the leave of absence administrative process and collaborate on associated support programs

Ensuring company is compliant with state and federal laws which includes Monitoring government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends

Collaborating with outside vendors, such as investment brokers and benefits vendors

Comprehensive employee benefits knowledge, including all legislative requirements

Minimum of 10 years of benefits experience

Serve as the benefits subject matter expert for multiple business units

Manage up to 20 different health plans

Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of benefit programs, policies, and procedures

Aid in the evaluation, recommendations, and selection of employee benefit plans

Minimum of 5 years of extensive benefits experience + supervisory or managerial experience

Must be well-versed in federal and sate requirements including paid leave, ADA, ERISA and other benefit compliance

Oversee, administer and manager the Leave of Absence team and tasks

Oversee company's health & wellness benefits - policies & programs

Provide assistance to other areas of the organization's Benefits team, including total rewards

Relevant Human Resources Certifications & Training strongly preferred

Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers, including negotiating contracts and resolving any issues.

Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to employee benefits, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA

Analyze benefits data and provide recommendations to senior leadership on ways to improve our offerings.

Monitor the cost of benefits programs and work with senior leadership to control costs without compromising the quality of our offerings.

5+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related field

Knowledge of benefits software and platforms

Ability to work through complex issues and that require significant attention to detail and strong time management skills

Proven experience in vendor management

Experience with benefit plan audits and compliance filings

Knowledge of ERISA regulations and requirements

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office software including Outlook, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint and large database experience

Position will actively interface with many internal and external stakeholders on an ongoing basis regarding retirement benefit concerns, questions, and analysis.

1+ years of management experience required, preferably managing a benefits staff

Develop and deliver educational materials, presentations, and communication strategies to enhance employees’ understanding of benefits offerings and encourage participation.

Manage a team of benefits professionals that oversee the implementation and administration of a global benefits program.

5+ years Benefits experience ideally in a high-tech, high-growth environment, global/multi-location experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of global benefits laws

Thorough knowledge and understanding of Federal and State regulatory laws in regards to Benefits, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA and ERISA.

Must be a positive teammate with excellent communication and project management skills.

5-7 years of US benefits experience (additional experience with global benefits is a plus).

Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package.

Coordinate daily benefit administration and processing.

Review both short- and long-range cost estimates/projections and relevant statistical analyses regarding modifications in benefits programs and implementation of new programs.

Audit the accuracy and performance of functions performed by benefits staff.

Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Effective time management; maximizes productivity.

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Benefits Administration required.

Processes cases related to benefits administration and maintains benefits documents.

Organizational and management practices as applied to the development, analysis, evaluation and implementation of benefits programs, policies and operational needs.

Current issues, trends, legislation and management theories related to benefit plan administration.

Coordinates department activities with other CCERA departments, management and staff.

Reviews and/or develops text for brochures, handbooks and standard letters regarding the benefit programs administered.

Defined benefit retirement plans and other types of pension plans.

Federal and State laws, rules and regulations governing pension systems, retirement plan administration and accounting requirements.

Must have the ability to stand on your feet for 50 hours a week and move 50+ cases.

Reports up the chain of command to dining director and executive director.

Responsible for daily delegating of prep and production tasks to ensure that dinner service is ready on time and runs smoothly.

Responsible for training and developing staff that sous chef position supervises, including assisting and providing feedback during the interview process.

Follows cell phone procedures and proper usage as dictated by Clairmont Place Executive Director and Employee Handbook.

Provides friendly service towards residents, guests, vendors, coworkers and any other coworkers in other departments.
