A degree in Human Resources, or equivalent HR experience

Ability to hold a current US-based Professional HR certification within 2 years of start date (SHRM or HRCI)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to prioritize and manage a diverse set of projects and timelines

Ability to consistently maintain a Professional Remote Office

Project Manage the client workload

Frequently talking, sitting, using finger movement, speaking clearly, and hearing conversation.

Will occasionally work in extreme cold, heat, sun, wetness, temperature change, humidity.

All lifts over 51 lbs. require assistance from a co- worker or the use of a mechanical device.

Overtime of adults may be required from time to time in order to accommodate the business need.

Record upkeep and file management

Performs other HR-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Leadership Team

Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or Senior Recruiter

Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations including but not limited to multiple states and federal law

Results-oriented with the ability to effectively manage projects and tight deadlines

Service-oriented, collaborative approach with exceptional follow-up and organization skills

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Collaborates with departmental managers and supervisors to ensure a successful recruiting and onboarding experience.

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate management.

Participates in the administration of the employee performance management process.

Stays up to date on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Human Capital Management Systems (Kronos or Wurk preferred).

Knowledge and Experience with using Human Resource Management Information System.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment state/federal law.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in business administration/management, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development or Psychology.

Computer skills with working knowledge of Data Collection and Analysis.

Maintaining digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records

Actively source and recruit candidates for a variety of positions including sales, retail, office, and management.

Screen candidates and participate in interviews as well as makes job offers.

Partner with the Payroll & Benefits Administrator during annual open enrollment.

Maintain and update the SSG Training Manual, ensuring all positions have new hire training programs in place.

Assist in planning and executing company events, holiday parties, and lunches.

Work closely with Payroll regarding new hires, terminations, pay, and position changes.
