The HR Generalist’s main responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, training and retention.

In This Role, You Will

• Maintain and update the SSG Training Manual, ensuring all positions have new hire training programs in place.
• Assist in planning and executing company events, holiday parties, and lunches.
• Actively source and recruit candidates for a variety of positions including sales, retail, office, and management.
• Work closely with Payroll regarding new hires, terminations, pay, and position changes.
• Assist with biweekly payroll preparation.
• Screen candidates and participate in interviews as well as makes job offers.
• Partner with the Payroll & Benefits Administrator during annual open enrollment.
• Complete administrative functions of the HR Department as needed.
• Serve as backup to the Payroll & Benefits Administrator. While not the main responsibility, will support employees as a subject matter expert regarding benefit programs.

The HR Generalist will also partner with SSG’s third party HR consulting firm on a variety of functions including employee relations and compliance.
