Additional relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. PHR /SPHR or SHRM CP/SCP preferred.

Must have knowledge and experience with federal and state laws relating to human resources.

Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with employment laws and practices required.

Must demonstrate sound critical thinking and decision-making skills on matters of significance.

Answers routine questions regarding payroll, recruitment, benefits and leaves of absences.

High school equivalency plus two years post high school education in human resources, marketing, business or related field required.

Strong time management and organizational skills, detail-oriented with ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Required Skills/Experience:BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with payroll, security clearances, employee engagement activities, and employee event planning.

Acts as a liaison to the Accounting/Payroll department regarding benefit deduction adjustments and other employee data changes.

Manages all E-Verify and I-9 actions.

Manages employee performance evaluation process.
