Monitor Guest Room Attendants and House Persons work productivity

Conduct daily briefing and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons

Keep all rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies clean and ensure all work is done properly

Two (2) years of relevant experience

Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned area

Supervise, train, direct, and assist all employees assigned to the area

Distribute workload fairly and evenly to those assigned to the station

Conduct daily briefing and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons

Ensure cleanliness of rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies that all work is done properly

Submits required number of hallway evaluations to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Assist in projects assigned by the Asst Housekeeping Manager

Two (2) years of experience in a housekeeping department

One (1) year of excellent guest service experience

Previous experience working in a similar resort setting

Supervises GRA’s, Housepersons, assigned floors and ensures all rooms and hallways are cleaned to Company standards

Minimum three (3) years of progressive Housekeeping management experience in a large, luxury casino/resort

Strong understanding of hospitality management programs and systems

Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required

Experience with opening 3,000-plus room property is preferred

Experience in creating and maintaining training materials for Housekeeping and related areas of a luxury resort

Two (2) years of experience in Hotel Management

Able to deal and interact with management, employees, and guests in an effective and diplomatic manner

Knowledgeable with OSHA regulations, including implementation and enforcement of safety guidelines, proper chemical usage, handling of BIOHAZARD materials, and injury prevention

Knowledgeable of all cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies

Strong leadership qualities and sound judgment with effective decision-making and problem-solving skills

Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts

Minimum four (4) years related housekeeping management experience in a resort establishment

Any project assigned by management

Must have good understanding and working knowledge of chemicals, cleaning supplies, and techniques/equipment including SDS, OSHA guidelines would be beneficial

Two to Three (2-3) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity inside a Union Casino/Resort environment is a plus

Must have well developed problem solving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives

Directs all Housekeeping staff ensuring that hotel standards are maintained and exceeded

Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.

Partner with the Operations Manager to monitor performance and make recommendations for disciplinary and other human resources-related actions.

Partner with the Operations Manager to recruit, develop, and manage the Housekeeping staff.

Partner with the Operations Manager to inventory and maintain par levels for linen and supplies.

Act as “Manager on duty” as required.

High School Diploma or equivalent plus five years housekeeping experience including a minimum of one year of supervisory training/experience.

Two (2) years of experience in Hotel Management

One (1) year of experience in Hotel Management

Able to deal and interact with management, employees, and guests in an effective and diplomatic manner

Knowledgeable of all cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies

Strong leadership qualities and sound judgment with effective decision-making and problem solving skills

Properly manages, completes and expedites any special projects or responsibilities as assigned by the executive housekeeper

Minimum one year experience in any type of supervisory role preferred

Knowledge of OSHA, MSDS and biohazard clean-up procedures

Controls labor expenditures consistent with the standard quota of rooms per day, according to the obligations of the contract
