Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to be performed include: initial counseling

Employee Assistance Program Services to Be Provided. The candidate shall provide the following:

Licensed marriage and family therapist,

Certified Employee Assistance Program professional,

Other duties as assigned by management

Experience in an accounting/public tax law finance environment; heavy focus on managing a budget,

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of six (6) years' experience as

Master's degree in accounting or finance or related field and a minimum of four (4) years' experience as

Areas of Responsibility and Preferred Qualifications will include:

Assist in the development and implementation of the Employee Assistance Program for employees of the Broward County School District.

Provide crisis intervention, consultation, referrals, follow-up and supportive counseling to employees.

Maintain consultation services with physicians, mental health professionals, agencies, and supervisory staff and coordinate treatment/assistance services.

Be Advised: All Applications Are Subject To Florida Public Records Law.

In collaboration with other health care professionals, may manage the home infusion patient care plan.

Oversees daily workflow and makes adjustments as necessary.

Completes department scheduling to account for business need.

Supervises, coaches and trains pharmacy staff members on optimal workflow.

Provides coaching, mentoring, recognition and corrective action, if necessary.

Oversees customer service and takes accountability for next level escalations from staff.

Two or more years’ experience administering employee benefit plans, preferred.

Manages the PHI Catastrophic Leave Donation Program.

Manages the completion, filing and posting of OSHA reports.

Minimum two years’ general experience as a human resources professional.

At least five years’ experience handling leaves of absences, ADA accommodations and workers’ compensation claims.

Bachelor’s degree or additional four years’ related experience required.

Knowledge of and ability to apply effective supervisory skills to direct and manage subordinate personnel;

Knowledge of and ability to apply program policies and procedures to assist staff in the performance of their responsibilities;

Works closely with Area Workforce Board staff and complies with all requirements;

Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions using judgment, and analytical skills;

Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and counseling techniques;

Proficiency in grammar, writing, mathematical skills, spelling, and punctuation;

Experience providing educational material to the level and interests of the audience and experience leading lectures, training seminars, and discussion groups.

College transcripts, if qualifying based on education or if there is a positive education requirement.

Experience interpreting federal laws, regulations and directives governing operations of employee assistance counseling programs.

Experience providing diagnosing and treating a variety of psychological illnesses and personality disorders, dual diagnosis and maladaptive behaviors.

Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a large WAP program (annual budget in multi-million dollars)

Deep understanding of DOE’s Weatherization program and its processes and regulations

Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsible for the success of the ICAST Multifamily WAP Program.

Seven years of experience in Employee Assistance Program (EAP) field: management consultation, employee assessment, referral and follow up and/or training.

One year Experience with Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) trained in “Mitchel Model”.

Three years of in-house EAP experience is preferred.

Provides recommendations to the Executive Director on department goals, objectives, as well as on the annual budget and financial planning.

Evaluates department and Work and Life Matters' policies, procedures, practices and needs through data and trend analysis to make organizational recommendations.

Oversees the marketing of department and program services, intranet content and/or other department/program marketing materials.

5 yrs. property management or medical/lodging insurance authorization.

Demonstrated skill in assessing customer needs and problem-solving abilities to meet those needs.

Must have strong customer service skills.

Position will require excellent communication (both oral and written) and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize the program workload.

Ability to understand and explain Medicaid benefits to patients and staff.

Two years of emergency incident response experience in healthcare or facilities related fields or FEMA ICS-100 and FEMA IS-700 course completion.
