Working knowledge of data modeling principles, data warehousing, data engineering tools

Four (4) yeas of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of higher education and experience

Four (4) years of SQL report writing, business intelligence experience or statistical analysis.

Experience in a report production environment with Excel and Access is essential.

Experience with custom reporting requests.

Independently and effectively organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging deadlines.

Have an advanced working knowledge of reporting and analytics tools including SQL Visual studio, Reporting Services and Integration Services.

Prepares reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data

Develops and maintains Data verse/PowerApps data; organizes data in a readable format

Develops dashboards, reports and other data visualizations to illuminate and support business decision-making and solution development

Define business requirements and functional specifications for a BI solution – including data and reporting/presentation layer requirements.

Strong experience with ETL development, data modeling, and data warehouse design

Strong work and time management skills; able to work effectively and independently under tight timelines

Analyzes and problem solve issues with current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of data

Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Healthcare Information, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields

Three (3) ore more years healthcare data analyst experience preferred

Must have experience managing large datasets and performing advanced analytics (i.e. Excel modeling, Access)

Working experience with PowerBI, MS Azure, SQL and Data bricks - highly desired

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Participates in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participates in professional organizations.

One (1) year of healthcare experience.

Experience in SQL and data reporting and visualization is strongly preferred.

Business intelligence experience (i.e. Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos, Cerner HealtheIntent, Python, and/or R).

Performs basic to advanced analyses, ETL processes with Excel, SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages.

Impeccable organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

B.S. in Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Tableau, SQL, and other data analysis tools required.

Perform analysis to support business requirements and monitor performance of key strategic initiatives.

5+ years in data, marketing analysis or equivalent experience

Excellent communication skills and an ability to translate numbers into meaningful insights with impactful visuals.

Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education for a total of 18 Years

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful reports and dashboards

Must have experience creating dashboards using the ServiceNow platform, including Performance Analytics

Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms

5+ years of experience with project management and managing systems and programs

Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures with business analysis, project management, process development and execution.

Knowledge of project management software and other technologies. Knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile development

This is a functional role and one must have excellent communication skills and strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills

Review and contribute to approving functional design definitions deliverables to ensure meeting business requirements

Prepare for, lead, and participate in Requirements Elicitation sessions as required for the project

Minimum of two years experience with Power BI desktop and online service, including Power Query and writing custom DAX expressions

Experience creating intuitive dashboards, interactive visual reports, scorecards etc. using Power BI

Experience with data analysis in health care or related field

Strong ability to understand, categorize, and translate business/user requirements to functional technical requirements

Excellent interpersonal and writing skills

Experience programming in Python and incorporating Python scripts into Power BI

Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or applicable experience

Leverage technical and business knowledge to organize and present data that facilitates data storytelling, provides actionable insights, and drives business decisions

Utilize data skills to combine multiple data sources to discover novel insights, identify trends, and investigate anomalies

Work with complex projects and business requirements while making output user friendly and comprehensive

Tableau Software certification desired but not required

2-4 years of relevant experience
