PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As a member of the Commercial Operations team, the BI Analyst will develop, implement, and research data tools and frameworks on behalf of Aspen Surgical. The reports and systems developed are in direct support of our goal to drive incremental revenue and EBITDA. This analyst will take initiative to answer analytical questions and help teams engage in thoughtful and data-driven work. This position will work closely with colleagues to evaluate data, identify problems, investigate, and improve the process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Other duties may be assigned

• Produce ad-hoc analysis in response to business requests
• Interface with various internal groups to resolve system and reporting issues
• Manage project plans, tasks, and deliverables to meet project deadlines
• Work with commercial operations team to ensure that reports are produced in a reliable, repeatable manner within established time frames
• Support commercial functions in business initiatives via data analysis
• Learn and manage Salesforce.com to ensure an exceptional user experience

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Ability to apply ingenuity and creativity regularly in order to develop the proper solution
• Ability to effectively manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to participate on/lead projects within a multi-functional team
• Experience working with SQL
• Working knowledge of data modeling principles, data warehousing, data engineering tools
• Ability to create actionable Power BI (or similar tool) reports
• Experience in Salesforce.com a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly to senior leadership
• Continuous learning focus to advance job knowledge through professional associations etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: pivot tables, nested functions, spreadsheet design
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, accounting, business, analytics OR combination of a technical degree with at least 2 years of experience in the role.
