Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to support all projects for our workplaces, warehouses, and factories across our Americas region. In this position it will also be your responsibility to drive and support the Change Management on activity-based working projects and in line with our Future Work experience.
Facility & Real Estate Management (FREM) is a global function at Tetra Pak, responsible for ensuring the quality of our facility management services worldwide, for optimizing our real estate footprint and for providing seamless, safe, inspirational and efficient workplaces that reflect the Tetra Pak brand. This position reports to the Director of Workplace Experience & Real Estate who is based in the UK and we offer flexible work arrangements.
This position can be based in Vernon Hills, IL / Winsted, MN / Denton, TX / Champlin, MN / Madison, WI / Canada or Mexico.
You will be travelling up to 30% of the time across the Americas region.
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation for this position.
What you will do
As the Key Account Manager for Workplace Projects in Americas, you will:
- Strengthen cross functional collaboration and communication in each project, follow the BT process, ensure R&R are carefully managed. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders, internal FREM, collaborators and other parts of the business.
- Be the ambassador for the Future Work experience and ensure it is implemented in all projects.
- Recognize value engineering opportunities and coordinate without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Secure that we are delivering sustainable solutions with full accessibility.
- Create amazing spaces which are sustainable and heighten user experience
- Develop business cases (end to end) to outline scenario options and support executive-level decision making using financial and non-financial information and performance metrics. Assure financial controls and reporting.
- Be the regional point of contact for all Workplace Experience and Real Estate projects in the Americas region by being in dialogue with the business on an ongoing basis to identify needs when it comes to Workplace and Real Estate.
- Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules, budgets, quality of the solutions and user satisfaction.
- Lead and drive external project managers to execute technical and logistical management of the project from the beginning till the end.
- Ensure all safety protocols are carried out, reported and logged in order to cultivate a safety mindset in all project execution.
- Integrate feedback from the operations and facilities teams into development of the project.
We believe you have
- Experience in managing end to end Real Estate and Workplace projects
- A dynamic, passionate, and self-driven personality with the ability to hit the road running.
- A minimum bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Real Estate management, Architecture, Construction, Civil Engineering, Surveying or equivalent
- The ideal candidate should be collaborative with great stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence people towards project completion, able to manage people and to work across boundaries
- About 10 years of work experience in a similar role, i.e., Corporate Real Estate Management, Workplace Projects, Architectural Construction, Construction Management, Built Environment, Facilities Management
- International work experience across the region
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- You should enjoy working according to standard process and procedures (and many times actively create them).
- Strong communication skills, ability to solve problems and provide oversight as well as execute of projects.
- Experience in Change Management and ensuring successful workplace change projects
