CONMED is looking for a WMS Business Systems Analyst to lead, administer and own the implemented WMS system and lead the deployment for other global locations. This is a critical role that requires a strong sense of urgency, great communications skills and the desire to make a measurable and immediate impact on the business. This position will have to effectively partner with the software vendor, business technology partner and other IT resources to design, sustain and administer solutions that are scalable, sustainable and effective.

- Key resource for deployment and sustenance of WMS across CONMED
- In live environment, assist with monitoring integrations, batch jobs, performance, and effectiveness of the system. Initiate and complete corrective actions as appropriate.
- Responsible for designing controls and ensuring SOX and CFR Part 11 compliance for WMS.
- Understand best practices for the WMS area.
- Understand configuration options in WMS system and implement (art of possible within the system)
- Work with software vendor, system integrator(s), business technology partners and support partners to identify and deploy solutions to identified and prioritized requirements.
- Understand capabilities required at CONMED.
- Understand newly released features in the product(s) and industry trends, and work with the business technology partner to deploy applicable capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create detailed and actionable functional specifications.
- Other duties as required by management.
- Responsible for training the trainers.
- Assist in prioritizing requests, lead solutioning and co-ordinate delivery of the solutions.
- Triage critical issues and lead resolution response.
- Ensure SOX and CFR Part 11 compliance by identifying and deploying sound practices in the areas of security, configuration/system change promotion.
- Position can be remote with travel and on-site presence as required based on business needs and at the discretion of the manager. Must be willing and able to travel at least 25% to support implementations and provide on-site support when requested.
- Responsible for design of security (user, role privileges) for WMS and its execution.
- Provide day to day support as necessary for WMS – monitor integrations, batch jobs, performance, and effectiveness. Escalate and lead corrections as necessary.
- Assist in identifying and organizing test cases.
- Ensure that the business continuity goals of the organization is met by ensuring that backups and disaster recover mechanisms are in place and periodically tested.
- Understand release strategy of the vendor and, read and disseminate release notes as appropriate. Deploy changes relevant to CONMED in a timely manner.
- Communicate status of work in progress, escalate issues as appropriate and complete initiatives on time and budget.
- Responsible for converting capability/detailed requirements into actionable solutions:
- Create detailed and actionable functional specifications.
- Lead/coordinate the development and configuration efforts.
- Responsible for training the trainers.
- Assist in identifying and organizing test cases.

Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT or relevant field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in deploying, integrating, sustaining and administering WMS type software.
Preferred:
- Knowledge and experience of ERP – SAP S/4HANA would be a plus but not required
- Experience with stabilizing WMS systems and performing continuous improvement.
- Proven expertise in implementing best practices in the WMS & fulfillment processes: inventory, receiving and shipping
- Knowledge and experience in SOX and CFR Part 11 compliance
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years’ experience in deploying, integrating, sustaining and administering WMS Software (implementation, support) – Softeon preferred.

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is 90,000 to 150,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
