Business Systems Analyst Jobs

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will be responsible for production support of the BASE24 (payments processing) application at Publix. Our team is passionate about constantly improving the quality of our solutions and support processes. In this position, you will provide best practice support around BASE24 processes and procedures, provide project leadership, contribute and coordinate with development on strategic and maintenance efforts and participate in efforts to improve and implement BASE24 features and functions.
Typical activities for this position include:

• Serve as contact for system issues and perform problem resolution on moderately complex issues
• Proactively communicate with management and the team on issues and/or any system changes
• Analyze and document business processes, gather requirements based on those processes, and uncover areas for improvement
• Lead the development of project plans, management of projects, monitoring project performance, and development of implementation plans
• Providing support and subject matter expertise on business rules and processes to technical lead, test lead and other team members
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to document business and system requirements (i.e., security, capacity, regulatory, scalability, reliability, recovery, and audit), user stories, and refine product backlog for moderately complex technology solutions
• Participate in on-call production support rotation with team members

Required Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate with upper management and technical peers alike
• 1 year of experience in business systems analysis
• Project leadership experience with moderately complex efforts
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
• Experience in identifying and supporting process improvements
