Job Description

As a Claims Business Systems Analyst on our team at USIS, you will be responsible for collecting business requirements, interviewing senior business stakeholders, developing presentations, programming/maintaining claim processing subsystems, and providing innovative thought leadership to the organizations. You will deliver innovative solutions to strengthen our relationships with internal stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Performing other duties as needed.
  • Working in a customized software development environment with responsibilities including business analysis, requirements analysis, system development and maintenance, modeling, change management, and documentation.
What You’ll Need:
  • Experience with IT/IS SDLC Methodology
  • Experience programming with one or more of the following scripts: SQL, XML, Visual Basic, ASP, JSP, HTML.
  • Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of networks and web services.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Familiarity with client server and/or Internet application.
  • Strong organizational, communication and data management skills.
  • Strong mathematical capabilities, analytical skills, and detail orientation.
  • Experience working with insurance applications preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to read requirements for implementation.
