Wellness Coordinator, Health Insurance

This position will provide health education to employees and GatorCare members to promote overall health and well-being. The position will plan, implement and evaluate health education programs and provide education on a variety of topics in both group and individual settings. This position is also responsible for developing and coordinating promotions and communications related to health education and programming.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Must be able to participate as a team member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop positive relationships among members, their health care provider and their insurance provider (GatorCare).
• Minimum of one year's progressively responsible work experience in, or in a combination of, direct patient care, health coaching, wellness initiatives and/or health insurance products and services.
• College degree in a health or medical discipline (e.g., nursing, allied health, health education, etc.) required at a minimum. Master's degree level of education preferred.
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
