Emmanuel College invites applications for the position of Staff Clinician/Wellness Coordinator in the College's Counseling Center. Responsibilities include individual (including tele-counseling) and group counseling, on-call rotation coverage and crisis intervention, clinical consultation, outreach, and programming for the Counseling Center. In addition, this position coordinates wellness and prevention programming and initiatives for the campus community, supervises undergraduate Wellness Ambassadors and implements special projects.

Individuals must have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, students, and other college employees. A genuine commitment to social justice, which is consistent with the College's mission, as well as a demonstrated experience and skill in working with a diverse population are required. Ability and willingness to accept responsibility as well as the ability to adapt to changing demands in a college setting are also necessary. Experience in higher education or another institutional setting is preferred.

Job Requirements:

Our ideal candidates will possess a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology or Social Work. Licensure in Massachusetts for the practice of counseling psychology or social work. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, at least one of which must be post-graduate degree. On-call responsibility requires after-hours time.
