Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and empathetic financial wellness coach to help our client's members improve their financial well-being. The successful candidate will work primarily one-on-one with blue collar tradespeople to create personalized financial plans, provide financial education and support, and help clients achieve their financial goals. The candidate may also provide education and seminars in a group setting for our client's employees and members. As a 1099 contractor, you will work independently to deliver high-quality financial wellness coaching sessions that empower clients to take control of their finances and achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the effectiveness of coaching sessions and adjust coaching strategies as necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all coaching activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of coaching sessions, progress, and outcomes.
• Work with clients in a 1 on 1 setting to assess their financial situation, identify financial goals, and develop personalized financial plans
• Develop and implement coaching strategies and techniques to improve one's financial status
• Monitor clients' progress towards their financial goals and make adjustments to their financial plan as needed
• Provide financial education and support to clients on topics such as budgeting, debt management, savings, and investments
• Conduct financial wellness workshops and seminars for groups of clients

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address areas for improvement.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and practices, including budgeting, debt management, savings, investments, and retirement planning.
• Proficient in English & Spanish
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• A career or experience in financial coaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and feedback to individuals and teams.

This is a 1099 contract position, meaning you will be responsible for your own taxes and expenses. Compensation will be based on a fee-for-service basis ($50 - $200/hr), depending on if you're meeting 1 on 1, in a cohort, or in a classroom setting.
