Job Summary
Responsible for oversight and management of wellness program strategies and programs. Ideal candidate has a strong understanding of wellness program implementation and ongoing organization of program delivery, including evaluation, resource coordination and integration, and recommendations for program enhancement. Typically reports to the Wellness Program Manager.
Responsible for oversight and management of wellness program strategies and programs within the Lindig Family Cancer Resource Center. Ideal candidate has a strong understanding of wellness program implementation and ongoing organization of program delivery, including evaluation, resource coordination and integration, and recommendations for program enhancement.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion or other health-related field
Licenses/Certifications: CHES or Certified Health Coach preferred
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
  • Demonstrates commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process by integrating our culture in all internal and external customer interactions; delivers on our brand promise of "we advance health" through innovation, accountability, empowerment, collaboration, compassion and results while ensuring One Memorial Hermann.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in health-related field required; Two (2) to three (3) years of Health Coaching and/or wellness program management experience preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working in Oncology programs
  • Candidate is organized and a self-starter that can respond to multiple requests and effectively manages time to complete various competing priorities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

Principal Accountabilities
  • Develops systems for tracking engagement over the course of the program year to aide in program outcomes reporting.
  • Manages communication process with Marketing to ensure all Lindig Family Cancer Resource Center communications are executed in accordance with program strategy.
  • Implements and oversees day-to-day operations of Lindig Family Cancer Resource Center programs.
  • Develops a relationship with volunteer-services business partners within Memorial Hermann and/or with external client partners.
  • Participates in the process of client data entry, maintenance and reporting.
  • Manages and maintains Lindig Family Cancer Resource Center events, campaigns, and challenges for each program year.
  • Coordinates internal processes and procedures to support the program delivery process.
  • Develops surveys and other opportunities to solicit feedback and articulate value and impact of the Lindig Family Cancer Resource Center program at Memorial Hermann.
  • Acts as interface coordinator between IT, web portal development team, Cerner account representatives, Marketing, and other areas of business as it relates to the successful deployment of program strategy.
  • Develops service plans and timeline management.
  • Provides program enhancements and recommendations to strategic account representatives based upon experience, oversight, and feedback received throughout the program year.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
  • Assists with developing Oncology wellness program initiatives for Lindig Family Cancer Resource Center Memorial Hermann program.
