We're in search of a Web Content Data Entry Specialist to join our vibrant Corporate Media and Communications team for an exciting two-month project. As a key player, you'll work closely with our digital and content teams, contributing to the evolution of our corporate website, tetratech.com. Don't worry if you're not a WordPress whiz – we value potential. Training is on us! This role is perfect for those dipping their toes into web design and development, offering an entry-level experience like no other. Compensation ranges from $17 to $23 per hour, tailored to your skills and expertise.
Your Role
Craft engaging webpages using WordPress, transferring content from various sources
Ensure accuracy and completeness of content data on webpages
Guarantee flawless content presentation without basic HTML errors
Collaborate with the team to address data discrepancies
Implement feedback on webpages, including proofreading and edits
Keep track of tasks and assets in Smartsheet
Follow procedures and suggest improvements to optimize operations
Contribute proactively to achieve team goals
Qualifications
Computer-savvy (PC, Windows)
Comfortable with diverse web browsers (Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and spreadsheets
Familiarity with web content management systems (WordPress, Elementor, Joomla, Drupal, etc.)
Experience with virtual collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, etc.)
Skilled in web content data entry and rich text editors
Adept at workflow processes
Meticulous, organized, and attentive to detail
Fast and accurate typist
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Quick learner, adept at adopting new tech tools
Basic understanding of HTML
Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar tools
Strong problem-solving skills
