Your Impact
Lead Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, working in close collaboration with operational business leaders.
Streamline Accounting Processes: Work hand in hand with our operational teams to establish efficient and accurate accounting processes, eliminating manual steps and enhancing overall accuracy.
Financial Reporting Expertise: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide key insights and drive informed decision-making.
Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and other financial transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations.
Audit and Compliance: Ensure seamless coordination with external auditors during the annual audit process to uphold compliance and accuracy of financial statements.
Tax Advisory: Collaborate with tax advisors on state sales and income tax, as well as US and Canadian tax payments and returns, staying ahead of tax regulations.
Innovative Solutions: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement efficient workflow processes and leverage our accounting software system to its fullest potential.
Smooth Integration: Play a crucial role in the accounting aspect of acquisitions, from due diligence to integration, ensuring seamless transitions for newly acquired companies.
Inspire and Lead: Foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment, providing mentorship, training, and guidance to our talented accounting team.
Your Qualifications
Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in Accounting with prior Controller experience. CPA certification is required.
Professional Services Background: Experience as a Controller in a professional services B2B environment and prior auditing experience is highly preferred.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Advantage and Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ is a plus, but not required.
Systems Implementation: Previous experience as a Subject Matter Expert or Super User in systems implementation or major upgrade projects is beneficial.
Remote Work: We offer remote work flexibility, but you should be comfortable working effectively within a geographically distributed team and building strong relationships via video calls and occasional in-person meetings.
Time Zone and Travel: The position can be remote, but candidates should be willing to work in the Central Time Zone and travel as needed to our company headquarters in the Dallas area.
