Corporate Controller, (180K-195K+20% Bonus)

LHH is looking to fill a Corporate Controller with a high growth manufacturing and construction company in the Dallas area. The Corporate Controller will be part of the leadership table and will work around top performing talented executives, hence being developed and groomed for future growth and executive leadership opportunities.

The Controller will lead the company accounting and reporting team and work cross functionally. Reporting to the CFO, the ideal candidate will enjoy and thrive in a collaborative, growth oriented, acquisitive environment where no two days are exactly the same. The successful candidate will enjoy digging in and owning the corporate and operational accounting functions, consolidations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. This is a high impact role where new perspective and fresh ideas leading to more effective and efficient best practices is respected and expected.

Responsibilities include:

• M&A activity and integration as well as additional projects as they arise
• Management and oversight of daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process, financial reporting, internal controls, company consolidations, cash management, budgeting, and forecasting
• Process improvements designed to enhance and drive business performance
• Analysis of all financial data for the business used to drive key decision making for the company

Requirements:

• Consolidations experience is highly desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to direct and supervise
• 10+ years of professional accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor degree in Accounting required
• Percentage of completion experience is highly desired
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• CPA or Master in Accounting preferred
