Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for optimizing the physical movement of merchandise and optimal inventory management strategy for imports. Determine international supply chain partners. Lead strategy development and Integration across Inventory Management and Transportation. Leads all aspects of international import Supply Chain operations including vendor management and collaboration at origin, product flow and consolidation, ocean and air carrier management and contract negotiation in partnership with strategic sourcing. Responsible for US Customs compliance

Responsible for operational excellence within Supply Chain Transportation. Works cross-functionally on development of next generation platform and capabilities required to operationalize the development agenda with a focus efficiency and growth. Develop enhanced operating procedures for cross-functional processes, while ensuring a customer focus. Leads standard work and continuous improvement initiatives for Transportation and partner teams.

Responsible for delivery of all innovative offerings (technical and non-technical) intended to enhance the customer experience, including last mile and delivery innovation. Partners with development to evaluate external partner proposals and offerings as it relates to the development agenda. Responsible for driving initiatives to improve product availability, inventory productivity, total landed net cost as well as collaboration on margin and cost productivity.

Leads collaboration with key stakeholders across the enterprise including leaders in finance, merchandising, inventory management, operations, and sales. Responsible for strategic internal and external relationships/partnerships.

Responsible for transportation vendor development, collaboration, and compliance. Development of collaboration processes with key strategic vendors, development of compliance program for vendor performance and working with the vendor community to develop innovative strategies to improve on-shelf availability, service levels, inventory productivity, and cost productivity.

Envisions and directs the development and production of analytical tools to validate transportation spend, performance against plan, identify expense reduction opportunities, and provide the basis from which predictive analytics can be drawn.
