LOCATION: 7726 Southern Drive, Springfield VA

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

SALARY: $78K+ (based on experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION/OVERVIEW:

• Supervisor supervises day-to-day transportation workforce.

• Manage all aspects of transportation discipline to include: safety and security compliances/ route structures and development/ personnel scheduling/ workload assignments/ cost control and metric driven performance.

• Oversees all daily operations of the transportation drivers in the most cost-effective and customer-satisfying manner.

• Coach a high-performance team and adhere to Iron Mountain regulations.

• Provide daily oversight of transportation operations to ensure high levels of service, production and quality metrics are achieved.

• Plan staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage.

• Communicate effectively with the frontline regarding change procedures, initiatives and program roll outs.

• Execute daily reporting mechanisms that provide critical data points to business trends and overall operational performance.

Responsible for: training/ recruiting,/counseling/ coaching/ disciplinary action and writing reviews.

• Process and approve payroll, time off requests and exceptions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of two years’ transportation supervisory experience.

• Experience with - Transportation Administration / Maintenance - Manage DVIR / BDIR process. DOT / IFTA reporting and requirements.

• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record; able to pass pre-employment drug testing and a background investigation as conditions of employment

\Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds.\High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
