Job Description
Company Overview: Our client is a well-funded start-up in growth mode seeking to add a VP of Operations to their growing team. They are a comprehensive behavioral health outpatient organization focused on improving the mental health of patients while prioritizing a strong commitment to a clinician-centric approach.
This role will be primarily home-based in the greater Atlanta, GA area with local travel to meet with local clinicians.
Compensation & Benefits: $175k-185k Base Salary (Negotiable/Flexible Commensurate with experience) Bonus, Lucrative Equity Plan, comprehensive full health benefits package, PTO, room for growth & other perks! This position will be primarily home-based/remote with some local travel.
Job Summary: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and oversee their operational functions.
In this role, the VP of Operations will collaborate closely with the executive team to design and implement strategies that align with our organizational goals, optimize operational processes, ensure quality standards, and drive business growth.
Job Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution: Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute operational strategies, goals, and initiatives aligned with the overall vision of the organization. Identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost optimization, and revenue generation. Monitor industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain efficient operational processes, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track operational performance. Identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and lead cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards in the behavioral health industry. Establish quality assurance programs and monitor adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives. Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and guidance to the operational team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Recruit, train, and mentor team members to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement professional development plans. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal departments, including clinical, finance, marketing, and technology, to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and key stakeholders to support organizational growth and partnerships. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 5-7 years of experience in operational leadership roles within the healthcare industry. Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, process improvement, and cost optimization. Experience in strategic planning, execution, and project management. Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
