Job Overview
The Fleet Operations Analyst is the primary point of contact for our fleet sales managers on all items relating to allocation and ordering. The Analyst is expected to manage the end-to-end process on our orders and correct/modify them as necessary. The primary team members the Analyst will interact with are the fleet sales managers.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert on all fleet programs by understanding the guidelines, rules, incentives, etc. Dealer/customer feedback on programs and enhancement recommendations on programs provided to management regularly.
  • Oversee any issues relating to vehicle ordering for fleet partners and ensure quick resolutions.
  • Maintain and support the allocation process through gathering fleet orders from various parties (i.e. business partners, customers, and dealers) and submitting these requests once approved by the Ordering & Allocation Department.
  • Support all fleet sales channels through ordering on behalf of customers, business partners, dealers, and internal fleet sales team. Assist in training business partners and dealers on ordering MB product which is essential to the long term growth of fleet.
  • Create and distribute order/production/delivery reports to external stakeholders (i.e. customers, business partners, and dealers) and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor orders throughout the entire logistics pipeline to ensure on time delivery to fleet customers. If necessary, communication with the Logistics Department, carriers, and VPC personnel is essential to satisfy each fleet customer
  • Maintain fleet incentives for the respective sales channels, which entails inputting incentives within the Sales Reporting System and ensuring the incentive display correctly on the invoice. If necessary, request buybacks on vehicles that require an invoice price correction.
  • Oversee and direct our Fleet Ordering contractors.
  • Recommend enhancements to current procedures and develop new methods to streamline the overall ordering process.
  • Create Make Ready requests, Special Moves requests, and other ad hoc requests as needed
  • Review and process fleet MSS inquiries and appeals. Ensure that all required documentation is secured, prior to submitting for payment.
  • Stay knowledgeable on all systems required to complete this role and recommend enhancements to streamline processes. Actively be engaged with new system implementation which affect the Fleet Department
  • Oversee the inventory through monitoring the fleet dealer codes, which have customer orders and customer demo vehicles. Ensure customer demo vehicles are entered and updated regularly in to the Fleet Management System.
  • Support updating fleet vehicles with all customer information (i.e. Corporate Account Number), ship-to locations, assignments, on hold, off hold request, etc.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (accredited school), preferably in business or a quantitative field
Skills and Experience (1-3 years):
  • Experience with SAP applications
  • Collaborative, agile, and a cross-functional team player
  • Automotive Industry (Sales area is a plus)
  • Detail-oriented and punctual
  • Solutions-driven with high work ethic
