Job Overview:

As our VP of Marketing, you will develop and execute comprehensive branding, marketing and social strategies that aligns with our overall business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack marketer who can scale a marketing organization within a startup through growth. You should have extensive people management experience, including having managed a creative team, a track record of developing successful marketing plans that drive growth, revenue, and customer acquisition, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the company's content marketing strategy, ensuring that all messaging is consistent, on-brand, and aligned with the company's overall positioning.
  • Drive customer acquisition strategies and optimize conversion funnels to maximize customer growth and revenue with focus on social channels
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture, encouraging innovation, creativity, and accountability within the team.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Manage and lead the marketing, creative, and communications teams, providing guidance and mentorship to achieve performance targets.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to understand the target customer and effectively communicate the company's value proposition to the market
  • Utilize customer data and segmentation to tailor marketing efforts and improve targeting and personalization.
  • Continuously assess the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage in the market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts align with broader company goals and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, making sure that resources are allocated effectively across various channels and campaigns to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Continuously optimize marketing campaigns and tactics using data-driven insights, testing and iterating to improve performance and drive growth.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to execute marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Implement effective customer retention initiatives, including loyalty programs, personalized marketing campaigns, and customer engagement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end marketing initiatives from strategy development to execution and measurement.
  • Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Strategic, curious, and data-driven
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate marketing strategies and results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Brings energetic, thoughtful leadership with a desire to manage and expand a winning team.
  • Proven ability to work with creative teams
  • 10+ years of senior-level experience, including people management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in brand management, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Loves a good challenge with an unflappable drive
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand market trends and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Proficient in using marketing analytics tools and platforms to measure performance and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce industry trends, digital marketing strategies, and customer behavior.
  • A track record of driving innovation and building best-in-class customer experiences for consumer brands
  • Expertise in creating and implementing innovative marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.
