Job Summary
Reporting to Altice USA’s Chief Data & Analytics Officer, this high visibility, key leadership role will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and developing the singular source of truth for business performance within Altice USA’s business. This leader will help drive the company’s aspiration to become a data-driven organization and will serve as a catalyst to inform data-based decisions on key actions and opportunities aimed at strengthening the company's competitive position and operational and financial health.
Responsibilities

• Own the “source of truth” for key business metrics; serve as the nexus across the Data Science & Analytics organization and the enterprise to power advanced analytics, machine learning, and driving key business decisions.
• Partner with IT to ensure that data pipelines are performant, accurate, and actionable. Develop a discipline of data governance and quality to trusted data and metrics.
• Develop a centralized capability aimed at developing scalable, analytical data layers that enable detailed, advanced analysis of customer behavior, competitive footprint, investment analysis, and product/market fit in the diverse array of markets in which AUSA operates
• Drive a transformation to bring together disparate teams and functions into a unified, aligned team with a one-team mindset by lead a multi-level team with a maniacal focus on culture, strategy, and execution.
• Recruit, motivate, develop, and engage a talented team of leaders and technical SME’s that are dedicated to developing best-in-class data and analytics capabilities.
• Drive the development of high-velocity, high-impact reporting to inform executive decision-making and drive continued awareness of key business metrics.
• Develop and drive “Executive Analytics” to serve as the key point of contact for senior-level executives to get current, high-velocity solutions to their immediate business challenges.

Qualifications

• Previous proven experience leading a team of data engineers and data analysts, preferably as part of a successful transformation initiative.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to summarize analytic findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate closely with executives all levels of an organization.
• “Player-Coach” approach to coaching and developing a team—a leader who is not afraid to “get their hands dirty”
• Understanding of a cloud data environment with the ability to partner closely with an Enterprise IT organization
• Deep experience leveraging analytics to drive actionable insights and implementable strategies; proven track record of shaping business strategy with data and analytics. This will require a substantive understanding of the lifecycle of analytics across analysis, data science, and machine learning.
• Experience in telecommunications, media, and/or technology preferred
• Hands-on approach to learning the Altice USA business to quickly and thoughtfully augment the strategic value of a unified analytics function
• Growth mindset and mentally primed to take on challenges and adopt effective problem-solving strategies; encourages team to embrace growth mindsets
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $200,000.00 - $237,500.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
