The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for leveraging consumer insights and data to both visualize and optimize marketing, sales, and finance initiatives for Alchemee (previously The Proactiv Company). This position will measure the effectiveness and financial impact of online and offline direct response acquisition and retention tests, create forecasts, and present test results. The marketing channels this position supports will include direct response television, web, telemarketing, direct mail, and partner programs.
The ideal candidate is an active listener with strong interpersonal communication skills as well as a natural collaborator who can ask and give feedback to both business owners, and internal and external stakeholders. This person has a passion for bringing best practices into the business while actively sharing business perspectives, knowledge and lessons learned to contribute and support a best-in-class global standard.
Essential Functions
- Perform analysis, including tracking, reporting and evaluating front-end performance, breakeven analysis of campaigns, pro-forma P&Ls, and A/B tests.
- Identify levers and present recommendations to improve performance of tests and campaigns to drive business results.
- Analyze web site analytics and raw data to formulate and present actionable insights and recommendations to help drive best in class experience and performance.
- Manage Adobe and multi-touch attribution vendor setups and portals to ensure data integrity.
- Proactively partner with cross functional teams to conduct and facilitate quantitative analyses to support Alchemee’s Marketing, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain departments with strategic and financial decisions.
- Act as process owner of insights and data reporting used to initiate and facilitate key business decisions.
- Other duties as assigned
- Run SQL queries to prepare data for visualizations.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations for the following: acquisition and retention offers, cost structures, new product development, media spending, and cost efficiencies.
- Drive improvements/enhancements in how insights are presented and evaluated as required by the business, including creation of new visual representation (e.g. dashboards) to accommodate new products and new markets.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to work in a team environment, delivering requests on-time and with precision and presented in a clear, concise and confident manner.
- Expert proficiency in Excel, including Solver, macros, and database functions required.

- Three (3) or more years of experience in Adobe Analytics required
- Three (3) or more years of experience working with business teams to create Tableau or PowerBI dashboards and visualizations required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Finance or another related field required.
- Five (5) or more years of experience working with large datasets, identifying critical information, developing insights, and making recommendations to support business initiatives required
- Ability to work independently with an uncompromising level of detail, strong attention to follow-through, and the ability to prioritize and execute many tasks while meeting strict deadlines, required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Proficiency in SQL, preferred.
- Experience in Monetate/Kibo testing platform a plus
- Understanding of finance and web testing processes a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships with internal departments.
