Vice President, Operations And Supply Chain

Reporting to the EVP/ELT of Client Experience, the Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain will oversee the Lytx teams that manage both Direct and Indirect procurement, device production, logistics and planning, and strategic vendor management, and telecommunication vendor management functions. This global role will be responsible for a broad range of related operations and supply chain activities from procurement and production through inventory management, logistics and warranty support. In this role, the Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain will support the Company in achieving its key sales and operating goals by delivering and supporting new device sales to clients. The successful candidate will be joining a fast paced, high-growth company and will drive the ongoing development and improvement of the operations team and the delivery and support of our products and services.
You’ll Get To

• Oversee global supplier sourcing, supplier and product quality, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and processes.
• Define the long term vision for the Operations and Supply Chain organization and develop strategy for creating best practice processes and a supply chain infrastructure that scales with the high growth demand for a premium hardware device.
• Develop, recommend and align organization around device manufacturing options and effectively manage supplier/partner network of 3rd party device manufacturers.
• Oversee device manufacturing, driving production improvements including quality, productivity, pricing, capacity and time to market.
• Supervise lead supplier selection and qualification, maintain relationships, and monitor supplier performance including quality, pricing and capacity to reduce market risks.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and operational work-flow, establish performance metrics, and lead manufacturing efforts to maximize efficiency, quality and capacity utilization.
• Manage global planning and logistics (forward and reverse), including inventory management, demand forecasting, import-export and supporting systems.
• Align the Supply Chain team around the growth strategy while motivating, managing, and mentoring them to execute as efficiently and quickly as possible.
• Drive process improvements, innovation and product related cost reductions by managing total landed material costs to optimize gross margin.
• Work cross-functionally with operations teams and engineering leadership to develop systems and processes to enable continued business growth.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Device Leadership to ensure we achieve cost, quality, and availability of supply metrics.
• Serve as senior member of Senior Leadership Client Experience team to set strategy, influence direction, and facilitate execution of goals and objectives.

What You’ll Need

• Articulate verbal communication, professional business writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to domestic and international locations
• Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing/supply management including excellent negotiation skills and experience with strategic sourcing methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineer, Supply Chain or related field
• Demonstrated high ethics and integrity standards
• Mandarin language skills strongly desired
• MBA and/or equivalent experience required
• Experience developing diverse vendor relationships and managing global networks
• Minimum of 15+ years’ experience in operations, supply chain and/or manufacturing management roles

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:
$229,154.40 - $280,077.60
