Vice President Of Finance & Strategic Planning

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Finance & Strategic Planning to join our client's executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial management and a proven ability to drive successful, complex projects to completion. As the VP of Finance & Strategic Planning, you will play a crucial role in guiding the company's long-term financial and strategic decisions, providing valuable insights and analysis, and supporting our Board of Directors and Chief Financial Officer.

Base Salary - $250,000+ Bonus & Equity - $100,000+/yr

Responsibilities:

1. Long Term and Capital Planning Processes: Lead the development of the company's long-term financial plans, including capital allocation strategies and investment opportunities. Collaborate with various departments to identify key growth areas and ensure alignment with the overall corporate strategy.
2. Key Company Initiatives and Value Added Oversight and Analysis: Oversee critical initiatives, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals and drive value for the organization. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to support decision-making and provide actionable recommendations.
3. Board of Director and CFO Support: Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors and CFO, providing financial expertise and strategic insights. Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and other materials to facilitate effective communication and decision-making at the executive level.
4. Strategic Projects: Drive the execution of strategic projects that enhance the company's competitive position, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely project completion within budget and scope.
5. Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Develop sophisticated financial models and forecasts to assist in resource allocation, scenario planning, and risk assessment. Continuously monitor and analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
6. Financial Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Mitigate financial risks through proactive risk management strategies and maintain a strong risk-aware culture within the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Must live in or be willing to relocate to South Florida
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance, strategic planning, and project management within large publicly-traded corporations.
• Hospitality industry experience is a plus
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with executives, board members, and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and capital markets.
• Proven track record of strategic thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is required.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated accomplishments in successfully completing complex strategic projects.
