The Director of Strategic Sourcing should have the following qualifications:

Creating and executing fully integrated long-term strategic plans to meet objectives and leveraging spend

Leads discussions and responsible for conducting periodic key business reviews with corresponding levels of management within the manufacturer community.

Responsible for all associate relations functions for department staff including hiring, terminating, performance management, development and training.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to communicate with supplier partners, customers, associates and management

Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions

Insures that all financial analysis such as cost/benefit, risk/reward, etc. are utilized to determine the optimal deal structure with the manufacturer.

Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets and forecasts for sourcing activities.

Strong understanding of ethical, legal, and environmental standards related to sourcing and supply chain management.

Manage a team of sourcing professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high performance.

Minimum of 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance, strategic planning, and project management within large publicly-traded corporations.

Hospitality industry experience is a plus
