Job Description
UES On-Site Property Manager
Stellar Management is looking for a Property Manager to handle the day-to-day operations of two luxury rental buildings on the Upper East Side. The ideal candidate will be able to think on their feet to effectively and quickly resolve issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of two luxury properties, including overseeing staff, maintaining common areas of property, and monitoring budgets and financial performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive tenant-landlord relationships by responding to their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor financial performance of property, including budgets, expenses, and revenue to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies, alongside leasing staff, to achieve high occupancy rates and rental revenue goals.
  • Ensure property is well-maintained.
  • Oversee lease enforcement process, ensuring all lease agreements are properly executed and enforced, and that rent and fees are collected in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge and expertise with other team members as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify and address issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Familiarity with compliance of city and state laws including but not limited to LL11 and LL84
  • Ability to build positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of management, internally and externally
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a luxury property manager in NYC
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Yardi
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting and expense management
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and basic construction
Salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000, depending upon experience.
