Gm592 - Full-Time Nanny - Upper East Side/Hamptons

A family on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their 5-year-old son. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, around 40-50 hours per week. The family goes to the Hampton's in the summer, during which the nanny would need to live-in with the family during the week. You must also be flexible to occassionally stay overnight and travel with the family 2-3 weeks of the year. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, getting the child up in the morning, scheduling and taking him to school, keeping stock of all necessary items for him and ordering if not in the home, engaging the son to ensure he meets his developmental milestones, collaborating with the other nannies and staff in the home through Google Calendar, making play-dates, and assisting with the bedtime routine. The home is fully staffed, so the nanny's only job will be to care for the son. The family needs someone autonomous, yet able to take direction. The ideal candidate will be sweet, loving, and able to work on a team. The family does have two dogs in the home so you must be comfortable with pets. You also must be able to drive and swim.
