Trainer - Non Vendor Security
Overview
As a trainer within Skillsoft your primary role will be to represent Skillsoft while delivering high quality education in accordance with vendor-specification, and to the quality standards documented in Skillsoft’s quality procedures.
A trainer will also provide sales support where necessary, keep abreast of technology and industry changes and feedback delegate’s sales leads in a timely fashion. When not on platform delivering trainers will work with sales and product management, providing sales support and customer engagement, respond to all operational, sales and customer requests within allotted time-scale and attend, where necessary vendor TTTs and be prepared to redeliver to all FTE trainers as and when required.
Opportunity Highlights

• Work closely with the designated scheduling manager to ensure that trainer utilization meets or exceeds the company requirements.
• Keep abreast of industry and vendor technology, exam and certification guidelines, distributing information to colleagues where applicable.
• Perform any other duties as deemed necessary to support the growth and goals of Skillsoft.
• Pursue agreed development plans and ensure that preparation time and team assessments are utilised to achieve these plans.
• Establish, build and maintain positive relationships and communication channels with all operational team members.
• Manage the classroom to optimize training experience.
• Deliver training courses to the required quality standards as detailed in Skillsoft quality procedures.
• Represent the Skillsoft values – demonstrating a can do and positive attitude at all times.
• Deliver training courses as specified by the course vendor and in consultation with designated scheduling manager.
• Responsive to contact requests, information and customer enquires.
• Attain the required standards in transfer of technical skills and delivery techniques.
• To be qualified and authorized to deliver assigned training courses prior to first delivery, ensuring the appropriate vendor process is followed.
• Deliver courses at all Skillsoft centers and customer sites when required.
• Provide sales support in the form of qualified leads and customer visits.
• Adhere to vendor-specific requirements including but not limited to obtain / renew certificates and following required examination and invigilation guidelines.

Essential
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• The trainer should be an MCT – Microsoft Certified Trainer
• The trainer should be able to deliver at least: AZ900 – Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and/or AZ104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator

Desirable

• Ideally the job holder will hold vendor certifications with significant experience in a similar role.

• You will have excellent communication and presentation skills; the ability to take responsibility and be decisive; the ability to work within a team; effective planning and organizational skills; project management skills; the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines; a commitment to keep up-to-date with IT trends and developments.

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be between $59,000 - $75,000.
