Tiktok Social Media Intern

Location: New York, NY

Expected Start Date & Cycle: Immediate start with minimum duration of 3 months

Working Hours: 15-20 hours per week

Compensation: $15- $30 / hour

Are you always scrolling on TikTok? Do you think Instagram is becoming cheugy (sorry we are trying…)? Do you always engage in humorous banter with strangers on the internet? If you do, and you want to help a brand create its own unique presence on social media, join S’more as our new social media intern starting and managing our TikTok account.

Who we are

S’more is building the next generation of social media that’s the complete opposite of influencer culture. We are a team of experienced builders and dreamers from diverse backgrounds, and we’re looking for someone creative who wants to bring all their ideas to the table to build a brand’s social presence from scratch.

We are looking for

A bold and innovative creator who lives and breathes TikTok / Instagram Reels. If you're someone who thrives on creativity, embraces the latest trends, and loves engaging with audiences, this role is perfect for you. We value authenticity and want someone who can captivate people's attention and create compelling content. Experience in shooting and editing videos is essential, and a sense of humor is a huge plus!

What you will do

• Collaborate with the marketing team on exciting projects that require short form videos
• Conceptualize, create and produce short videos
• Research and identify emerging trends to drive engagement
• Brainstorm and establish a brand’s personality on TikTok

Requirements

• Comfortable in front of the camera, with a genuine and authentic presence.
• A strong passion for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, with a deep understanding of the latest trends and internet culture.
• Proficiency in shooting and editing videos.
• Creativity and outside-of-the-box thinking are crucial (as a new brand, we don’t have a ton of brand safety guidelines so when we say creative, we mean it!)
• Ability to capture people's attention and engage with audiences as a skilled storyteller.
