Job Description

Client Overview: Our client, a well-known beauty brand, is looking for a savvy social media junkie who will be responsible for owning, creating, and executing innovative social media strategy and content for the brand.

Associate Social Media Manager/ Content Creator Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and develop compelling content that is original to each platform to drive engagement and build the brand lifestyle in the digital space.
  • Develop and own the implementation (posting) of the overall social media content to support 360 marketing plans and present the brand in an authentic way.
  • Build social media content calendars that support overall brand goals for key platforms
  • Constantly explore and evaluate new social platforms, tools, services and vendors and provide recommendations.
  • Tailor a content strategy per platform that appropriately engages the community and best practices
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop weekly, monthly and seasonal campaigns that are consistent and integrated.
  • Monitor UGC and community comments across all social channels and respond/regram appropriately.
  • Develop measurement tools, establish KPI’s and benchmarks for measuring impact of social media efforts in order to determine campaign effectiveness. Report monthly results and key learnings to leadership team and stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of key industry trends, competitive insights and emerging social media/marketing/e-commerce technologies and benchmark and research competitor and industry leaders in social media.
  • Act as direct contact for brand creators and partner requests coming through platform

Associate Social Media Manager/ Content Creator Qualifications:

  • Strategic, innovative thinker willing to push the envelope and bring fresh, innovative ideas to life
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years’ experience minimum in the digital space and a solid understanding of and actively engaged in using social media platforms (i.e. TikTok, Instagram,YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) Some beauty experience preferred.
  • Well-versed in digital media and social media metrics and monitoring tools (Dash Hudson, Tribe Dynamics, Sprout Social, etc.)
  • Experience in successfully concepting and managing strategic social marketing projects.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and also quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas and change course as needed.
