About the Role:
  • Weekly tasks include:
  • Schedule appointments for new and existing members with their Cityblock care team, including appointments with a primary care provider, nurse, or other care team member
  • Confirm appointments with members and ensure that they are prepared and informed of what to expect during their visit. This includes reviewing the technical requirements with members for video visits
  • Outreach and engage new Cityblock members by introducing them to Cityblock’s services, starting with a welcome appointment with their care team.
  • Resolve any appointment conflicts for our members by modifying appointments in the EHR, Commons, Traumasoft and other scheduling systems
  • Answer appointment related questions from members and our internal teams
  • Under the direction of the Manager of Central Scheduling and the Scheduling Lead, the Central Scheduler will outreach and engage Cityblock members to schedule appointments with our care teams.
  • Document all interactions with members in Commons and/or EHR
Requirements for the Role:
  • Prior customer service experience, including welcoming individuals to new programs
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage a pre populated list of members to outreach and schedule appointments is able to track the status of an appointment
  • Prior scheduling experience, preferably using EHRs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively, with a sharp sense of member experience and scheduling priorities
  • Able to meet productivity targets while working remotely
  • Computer savvy and can easily navigate multiple systems.
